Heritage Celebration"
On the last Saturday of October each year, the city of
Brundidge celebrates its proud heritage in the peanut butter
industry with the Peanut Butter Festival featuring:
Grandmaw's Smokehouse Breakfast
Fill up on sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, grits, gravy,
biscuits and soppin' syrup.
5K Peanut Butter Run
Some
peanuts and some folks are "runners." Some or goobers. Run or walk.
Arts and Crafts
Some
of the area's top artists and craftsmen show their stuff.
Entertainment
Non-stop pickin', dancin' and singin; that will suit just about
anybody's fancy.
Nutter Butter Parade
A parade of the nutty people and things. It's the "funnest"
parade around.
Games and Contests
Call hogs, shell peanuts, catch pig, dress goats, pitch hay and
on and on.
Construction of Alabama's Largest PB&J
Watch out for falling crumbs at the record-breaking PB&J goes
looong.
Peanut Butter Recipe Contest
There's more than 100 ways to eat peanut butter. We recommend
all of 'em.
Demonstration Crafts
Grind peanuts. Churn butter. Shuck corn. Milk a cow. Squeeze
cane and more.
Back to the Barnyard
Old-fashioned fun. NO GROWNUPS ALLOWED!
Chow Down!
From funnel cakes to cracklinı bread, from fried pies to greasy
