It’s June Buggin’ time at the We Piddle Around Theater Brundidge, Alabama
The Brundidge Historical Society presents A "set down" with Gary Carden an Appalachian Garrison Keillor Luncheon: 11:30 a.m. June 9, 2011 Box Supper Show: 6:30 p.m. June 10, 2011 Gary Carden is a folklorist and storyteller who grew up with cows, June apple trees, comic books, the Farmers’ Federation and Saturday movies. He told his first stories to 150 white leghorn chickens in a dark chicken house when he was six years old. Tickets $20 each and include the pre-show music, a salad luncheon or box supper (both with dessert and beverage) and storytelling concert.
